An outing with Marco through 'Stage en Excursion' is the perfect way to have an Amazing Experience while seeing the beauties of Giverny. I highly recommend it! Marco knows the ideal way to do things-- from a picture with Monet's statue in the forest, to a coffee and story of how a group of American artists arrived by coincidence in Giverny and set up a studio a few blocks from their hero, Monet; and a lovely visit to the hotel, garden, studio and restaurant where they stayed; to a walk to the old church and cemetery, to a perfect picnic along the Seine (there were swans!), to the tour of Monet's flower gardens, Japanese garden, home and gift shop. Plus, Marco is an amazing photographer and beautifully captures your experience for you. I can't say enough good things about the experience and am only sad that I was leaving Paris the next day and didn't have opportunity to go on other excursions. This is the best way to see special things-- in a small group, with a knowledgeable guide, who speaks both French and English (and Dutch!) An excellent value, too. All I can say is, "Thank You!"
the most enjoyable guided tour of Giverny

My husband and I would like to thank you for the most enjoyable guided tour of Giverny and Monet's house and garden. Marco was an excellent guide--very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. The picnic lunch on the bank of the Seine was totally memorable -- just like being in an impressionist painting! We would recommend this tour without hesitation to anyone interested in having an enjoyable and educational experience.
