Language and culture tour
Impressionism around Paris
As an art movement the Impressionism was, late 19th century, a reaction against the prevailing 'conservative' views that existed about art at that time. As opposed to that prevailing norm the Impressionists wanted to go outside to paint what they observed by capturing the impression at a particular moment. There were no delineated drawing and pre-created studies of what they paint but topics which were focused on everyday situations in the immediate vicinity!

During the language and culture tour Impressionnism autour de Paris we meet different aspects of impressionism. Together with a guide, we'll go out to discover several places where the Impressionists have lived and painted.
We visit Claude Monet in Giverny and Vincent van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise and get acquainted with all the beauty that they have left us.
Of course a visit to Montmartre, the artist district during the Impresionism in Paris, is included.
The tour lasts 6 days and runs from Monday to Sunday.
